The 2025 IWWF Asia & Oceania Cable Wakeboard & Wakeskate Championships will be held from 24th to 26th January 2025 at Deca Wake Park Clark, Angeles, Pampanga, Philippines. This combined confederation expects to gather top cable wakeboard and wakeskate athletes from over 10 countries from the Asia and Oceania region and will be a great way to kick-off the cable wakeboard calendar for 2025. There will be five age group medal disciplines in wakeboard (under 14, under 18, over 30, over 40 and Open wakeboard), two in wakeskate (under 18 and open) a seated category for both men and women, and the prestigious team overall medal discipline. The 2025 IWWF Asia & Oceania Cable Wakeboard & Wakeskate Championships will also be a qualifying event for The World Games 2025, which will be held in Chengdu, China. The winners of the Open Men & Women’s cable wakeboard categories will book themselves a spot in these multi-sporting games. The organizing team is spearheaded by WWASP Head Coach and Technical director, Carlo “C-lo” dela Torre and he shares his excitement for this event. “We are ecstatic to host this competition, especially with this being only the 3rd one so far. We are excited to see riders from across the globe participate in this highly anticipated event in our park located in Pampanga, Philippines which is also home of the National Team. Furthermore, we would like to thank the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation for giving us the opportunity to host this event and push our dreams step-by-step for being included in the Olympics.” Pampanga is the premium destination for a variety of exciting recreational activities. Dubbed as the Culinary Capital of the Philippines, and just an hour away from Metro Manila, the province boasts its delicious food, rich culture and heritage, and outdoor adventures. Known for its colorful festivals, theme parks and highly urbanized cities, particularly Clark Global City, Pampanga is definitely a fun place to explore for all ages, which is made even more convenient for tourists from neighboring countries to visit with its recently built International Airport (CRK).
